Sophie Moles is one of the newest veterinarians at Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital. Sophie has been a wildlife veterinarian for four years splitting her time between two wildlife hospitals, and prior to that worked as a Genera Practice veterinarian treating dogs and cats in Hobart.

She loves working with Australian wildlife, not just because she gets to care for the incredibly diverse (and often very cute) range of native species we see, but because helping them through the multiple challenges they are facing is very rewarding.

“The variety of wildlife species and cases means no two work days are the same, says Sophie, “When I am not at work I can be found hanging with my other love, my cat Elvis.”
