The Hon. Justine Elliot, Member for Richmond recently visited Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital headquarters to formally announce a $2million funding grant to Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital from the Australian Government.
The commitment, made by the Albanese Labor Government during the 2025 election campaign, will help Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital continue to treat wildlife patients and keep our incredible veterinary staff employed to do their vital and life-saving work .
“This is part of the Australian Government’s Local Environmental Projects Program that is protecting and improving our environment and heritage.” said Ms Elliot.
