Veterinary Nurse

Chelsea started working in the wildlife sector at 18 years old when she joined Wildcare Australia based on the Gold Coast as a wildlife rescuer and carer. For the past nine years, she has been rescuing a huge diversity of wildlife species including koalas, adult macropods as well as raising and rehabilitating possums, gliders, reptiles, echidnas, bandicoots, and bats. After completing her Veterinary Nursing course, Chelsea starting working as a nurse with koalas, joining Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital in May 2024.
