Dr Amelia (Millie) has worked as a wildlife vet for 18 months at Endeavour Veterinary Ecology working exclusively with koalas and then at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital for the past 12 months. Prior to working with wildlife she was a mixed practice vet in rural Queensland. 

“I grew up in central Queensland on a cattle property. In my spare time I'm usually riding my horse or painting. My partner is also a vet we spend any spare weekend we have out at his family beef/ dairy property.”

 Millie's passion for both wildlife and zoonotic medicine is a great asset to our organisation.
